Hi :) I have really missed having a spot of connection, a place to reflect and share! We have a whole year's worth of catching up to do, so lets get to it!!

I graduated from APU with my DPT. This was an incredible bookend to the year 2011!! I am so thankful to those who shared in my joy and accomplishment. My wonderful Aunt Cindy made this photo page, THANK YOU!! I love it :D
We rang in 2012 in the most amazing of ways!! A trip to New York! It was a dream come true... everything we wanted it to be and more. I am so thankful for the fun we had and also the time we had away from all distractions, giving us the ability to discuss what we wanted for 2012!!

When we got home from NYC, studying for the PT Board exam was in full swing, I was scheduled to take the boards the end of January... Spent most of my days alternating between our kitchen table and walking down to Starbucks. Of coarse, in true Kelly fashion I had to try and convince Erik I was going to fail, and he supported me and helped my conquer that test!! This remained on our fridge for the entire month of January! My husband is really super awesome :D
Also, in January I started working per diem. Of coarse, at this point I was completely oblivious to Gods perfect plan. A couple months later this lead to my current full time position that I am forever grateful for.
In March, before I started full time, Erik and I enjoyed a fun Disneyland day :D This is us on Autotopia!!
Friday date night is a tradition we started when I was in PT school, it has been a constant source of connection and fun, and is much anticipated every week!!! This tradition continues and increases in importance as both Erik and I work somewhat different schedules and also enjoy various hobbies/ extracurricular activities after work. This is us at a date night in April at our favorite Sushi restaurant :)
This is us at Easter. Such a wonderful day of celebration!! Started with going to our church, then meeting my family for brunch and Eriks family for dinner, really the perfect day!!
May was a VERY important month, this handsome guy turned 30! We had such a fun party, I am so thankful for our family and friends that made Erik feel special on his birthday!!

My birthday was also in May :D My favorite thing about my birthday is all the cards!! I love to set them out and read them a bunch and then save them each year, its the best.. anyways, my birthday was so fun!! My super great in-laws gave us tickets to cirque du soleil, I had never been before, it was breathtaking and such a fun way to celebrate!!
June was another very exciting month!!! Ryan, Eriks brother, and Kara got married, YAY! And the best part?! Erik was the best man and I was a bridesmaid!!! We were both so honored to be a part of their special day!!
They are such a fun couple and their wedding expressed their fun-loving, laid back vibe! It was the perfect day!! Heres the whole fam :D So happy to have another Caines girl!

July 4th we had friends over at our place, it was such a fun day!! Heres the boys!

July continued to be full of fun as we went on our annual trip to San Diego for COMIC CON!! It was a great year including some exciting work for Erik and also just lots of fun!!

Erik got a really cool opportunity to sketch some Walking Dead cards for zombie lovin fans! Heres both of us doin what we do best.. Erik drawing and me bein a crazy chatterbox, talkin to whoever will listen, haha

Friends, that brings us to september... which of coarse means the LA County Fair!! We both truly love the fair, I think because we both really enjoy walking and talking and just checkin things out :) We spent a full 9 hour day at the fair and treasured every moment!!
Wow, quite the post huh?!?! There you have it 2012, so far, much was left out but at least I was able to give you a glimpse of what the the heck has been going on for the past year and now I hope to hit the ground running with Caines Chatterbox. Please e-mail/comment and let me know the highlights of 2012 for you, plus we still have some wonderful months of the year left.. some of my favs in fact :D
